CSE closes lower Wednesday

Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN) – Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed lower on Wednesday.

The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) declined by 0.35 percent to close at 10264.47 points. The CSE-30 Index also shed 0.30 percent to close at 7871.08 points.

A total of 164 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 80 gained, 79 declined and five remained unchanged.

Some 6,208,102 shares and debentures worth BDT 728.40 million changed hands on the same day.
