Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN) – Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), the country’s second bourse closed mixed on Wednesday with the losers dominating the gainers.
The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) decreased by 0.47 per cent or 40.07 points to close at 8423.19 points from the previous day’s 8463.26 points, according to the statistics.
On the other hand, the CSE-30 Index increased by 0.14 percent or 10.88 points to close at 7402.76 points from 7391.88 points on the previous trading day.
A total of 139 issues were traded today. Of them, 42 gained, 92 declined and only five remained unchanged.
Some 3,717,216 shares and debentures worth BDT 375.9 million changed hands on the day against 3,942,303 shares valued BDT 349.8 million of the previous day, according to reports.
