David Meale joins US embassy as deputy mission chief

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– David Meale has joined the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka as its new Deputy Chief of Mission.
Meale was previously the Counselor for Economic Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, a US embassy press statement said in Dhaka on Monday.
With over 20 years in the U.S. Foreign Service, he has also served as Deputy Director of the Office of Monetary Affairs in the Economic Bureau and held assignments in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Guinea, on the Israel Desk in Washington, and as a student at the National Defense University.
