Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) President Asif Ibrahim on Saturday invited the entrepreneurs of Maldives to explore potentials of tourism in Bangladesh. 
Mr. Asif came up with the invitation when Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Maldives Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Ghafoor and State Minister for Economic Development of Maldives Abdulla Ameen met him at the DCCI office in the capital. 
During the meeting, Asif said exchange of trade delegation between the two countries would play a pivotal role to boost bilateral trade.
He called upon Maldives to invest in the infrastructure development sector.
The DCCI president put emphasis on more business to business (B2B) interaction between the two friendly countries.
Adheeb Abdul Ghafoor also invited Bangladeshi investors to invest in the Maldives. 
He called for establishing a Trade Centre in Male in order to showcase Bangladeshi products. 
Regarding exchange of trade delegations, he also welcomed trade delegation from Bangladesh to Maldives. 
High Commissioner of Maldives to Bangladesh Ahmed Sareer and DCCI former Director and Convenor of the Trade Delegation and Trade Fair Standing Committee of DCCI Syed Habibur Rahman were also present during the meeting.
