DCCI signs deal with Chinese foreign trade center to strengthen bilateral business

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- An agreement on cooperation between Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and China Foreign Trade Centre (CFTC) was signed in Dhaka aiming to strengthen business cooperation between Dhaka and Beijing.
Objective of the agreement is to jointly evaluate the situation and take effective actions to strengthen cooperation between Chinese and Bangladeshi business institutions through exchange of visits, trade fair and exposition, business travel and consultancy.
DCCI President Asif Ibrahim and Deputy Director General of China Foreign Trade Centre (CFTC) Chen Chaoren signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations, a DCCI statement said on Tuesday.
Industries Minister Dilip Barua and Ambassador of Chinese Embassy in 
Bangladesh Zhang Xianyi were present at the event.
Under the deal, the CFTC will invite DCCI delegations to visit the China Import and Export Fair (CIEF) and its major events and provide DCCI with assistance in holding seminars and presentations at the CIEF.
