Degree pass exams begin Sunday

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The degree pass and certificate course examinations of 2012 under the National University begin across the country on Sunday. 

Some 475,972 examinees of 1627 colleges are expected to take part in the examination in 666 centers, an official announcement said on Saturday.

Of the examinees, 183,569  of first year, 137546 of second year, 153,622 of third year, 1,162 of certificate course, 72 of B-Music and 34 of sports science. 

 National University authorities have sought cooperation of all concerned in completing the examinations fairly and peacefully.  

The examinations will end on May 5.
