Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Dhaka Bank Limited has announced special hajj package, under which the Hajj passengers can receive their money from any bank, ATM booth (VISA), Money Transfer House in Saudi Arabia, officials said.
The hajj agents can send any amount of money to any bank of Saudi Arabia at possible lowest time from any branch of Dhaka Bank, they said.
Dhaka Bank announced the special package at a city hotel on Sunday.
The launching ceremony was attended, among others, by Khondker Fazle Rashid, managing director of the bank, Niaz Habib, additional managing director, Neaz Mohammad Khan and Emranul Huq, deputy managing directors of Dhaka Bank.
Under the new hajj package, Dhaka Bank will issue travelers cheque and hajj card for the hajj passengers.
The bank will also manage sending money to Saudi Arabia for the hajj passengers and the agents, the officials added.
The pilgrims can withdraw that money in Saudi Arabia by the travelers’ cheque and hajj card from any bank, ATM booth (VISA), Money Transfer House during their pilgrimage period there, they added.
