Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Bangladesh emphasizes further advancing multidimensional economic cooperation with South Korea through exchange of frequent high-level contacts and visits between the two countries, Foreign Minister Dipu Moni said.

The foreign minister made the remark when South Korea Ambassador Suk-Bum paid a farewell call on her at her office in the capital, Dhaka on Thursday, a foreign ministry press statement said.

During the meeting Dipu Moni thanked the ambassador for his significant contribution to further strengthening of Bangladesh- Korea bilateral relations during his tenure. She also stated that Bangladesh admires the commendable achievement and economic progress made by the prudent leadership and the resilient people of South Korea.

The bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Korea had strengthened and expanded specially in trade and investment, energy, power& mineral resources, infrastructure development, education and culture, the foreign minister added.
