Dhaka, Riyadh sign deal on ‘Avoidance of Double Taxation’

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (BBN)- Bangladesh and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday signed an important deal on ‘Avoidance of Double Taxation’ at the Ministry of Finance of KSA in Riyadh. 
Commerce Minister M Faruk Khan and Vice-Minister of Finance of the Kingdom Hamad S Al-Bazai signed the agreement on behalf of their respective countries, according to reports.
After signing the agreement, Faruk said that the opportunity of signing such an important agreement is yet another milestone in the excellent relations Bangladesh enjoys with Saudi Arabia. 
Mr. Khan arrived in Riyadh early Tuesday accompanied by a business delegation. 
The delegation members include, among others, Abdus Salam Murshedy, President, Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Sheikh Farook Hossain, Chairman, Bangladesh Jute Association and MS Shekil Chowdhury, Chairman, Centre for NRBs.
