Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Dhaka stocks continued to plunge for the third consecutive day on Tuesday with the benchmark index sinking to more than two-year low.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) General Index (DGEN) rose for a brief scale but at the end of session it was down by 132.52 points or 2.85 per cent to 4506.08.

Out of 259 issues traded, prices of 18 issues gained, 230 lost and 11 remained unchanged with shares worth BDT 2.34 billion changed hands.
