Dhaka stocks move positively before Eid

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) finished positively with all three indices gaining marginally on a shortened week before the Eid festival; with the benchmark (DSE) General Index (DGEN) gaining 0.48 percent or 32 points to settle above 6,800-mark.

The total turnover dropped by 16.7 percent to BDT 47.34 billion in the last week compared to the previous week, but the average daily turnover rose by 11.1 percent to BDT 15.78 billion.
