Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) is going on mixed trend amid fluctuation on Monday after sharp decline in the previous day.

The market opened with a negative note and lost 59 points within 10 minutes, and next 5 minutes it recovered it. But it again went to negative and lost 58 points or 1.42 per cent to stands at 4,124 at about 11.30am.

Total turnover value stood at BDT 409 million while 32 issues advanced and 188 issues lost in prices.

On Sunday, the Dhaka stocks witnessed sharp decline and lost 303 points or 6.77 per cent–biggest fall in the year 2012.

Meanwhile, investors are trying to stage demonstration in front of the in the morning. But police foiled their attempt.
