Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The online version of Dhaka Tribune, a national English daily, was launched through a ceremony in the capital’s Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel on Friday.
Kazi Shahid Ahmed, father of the daily’s Publisher and Managing Director Kazi Anis Ahmed; Professor Rehman Sobhan, father of the daily’s Editor Zafar Sobhan; and Kazi Zahidul Hasan, father of the daily’s Chairman Kazi Zahin Hasan, formally launched the online version.
Kazi Zahin gave a brief speech while Kazi Anis and Zafar Sobhan elaborated on the daily’s mission and vision.
Kazi Zahin’s mother Dr Parween Hasan, Zafar Sobhan’s mother Dr Rounaq Jahan and Kazi Anis’ mother Amina Ahmed also attended the function.
