Dhaka University, Greenwich University of Karachi sign MoU to promote research

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Dhaka University (DU) and Greenwich University (GU),Karachi, was signed on Wednesday with the objective of establishing and promoting academic exchange and research programs between the two institutions.

DU Treasurer Professor Dr Mijanur Rahman and GU Vice-Chancellor Seema Mughal signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions at a function held at the vice- chancellor's office of DU in Dhaka.

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique, Director Administration and personnel of Greenwich University Sayeed Kamal Mughal and DU Registrar Syed Rezaur Rahman were present on the occasion.

Under the MoU both the institutions will promote and develop cooperation for the upliftment and progress of academic and research activities and exchange of teachers, researchers and students between the two universities.

This MoU will remain in effect for five years and it may be extended for a further period as may be agreed in writing by the parties.
