Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Day-long voting for the election of Dhaka University (DU) registered graduate representatives on Saturday ended amid alleged anomalies by the government-backed supporters.

The professor also a candidate from the panel alleged that pro-government supporters assaulted their voters and volunteers where at least seven campaigners including a teacher were injured.

DU registrar Syed Rezaur Rahman said around 18,900 registered graduates has exercised their voting right at three polling centers on the university campus to elect 25 representatives for the senate.
