Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The authorities of Dhaka University (DU) are going to start its online admission process for the first year honours courses from Sunday. 
Vice-chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique will inaugurate the admission process for the academic year at the university’s registrar building at 00:01am, said Professor Dr Hasibur Rashid, convener of the online admission process. 
He said that the application forms and related information will be available at the university’s admission website- The style=color:#0066FF target=”_blank”>www.admission.univdhaka.edu.
The admission forms have to be submitted through online by September 15.
The authorities have fixed the application fee at BDT 350 including bank charge of BDT 50 while last year it was at BDT 320 including bank charge of BDT 20. The applicants can pay fee at any branch of state-owned four banks-Sonali, Rupali, Janata and Agrani-across the country.
He said that the candidates can also download their admit cards from the respective website after 48 hours of depositing the money and added that applicants have to downloaded the application forms and print their admit cards otherwise they won’t be allowed to enter into the examination halls.
The admission test schedules-‘Ka unit’ for Science Faculty on Oct 12, ‘Kha unit’ for Arts and Social Sciences Faculty on Oct 19, ‘Ga unit’ for Business Studies Faculty on Nov 23, ‘Gha unit’ for transformation of units on Nov 9 and ‘Cha unit’ for Fine Arts Faculty on Nov 16.
