Dhaka University to establish research centre on ’71 genocide

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Dhaka University (DU) will establish the ”centre for genocide studies” and the ”department of educational psychology”.

The university’s academic council made the decisions at a meeting held in the capital Dhaka on Monday.

The centre for genocide studies will initiate soon as a research centre to unfold the true history and information of the genocide during the War of Liberation in 1971, DU Vice Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Sidique said.
