Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Dr Abul Kalam Azad, Deputy General Manager of the Bangladesh Bank (BB), has been promoted to General Manager (GM).
He has been posted to the Agricultural Credit Department [ACD] of the central bank, a BB press statement said.
Prior to his promotion, Dr Kalam was working in the Bangladesh Bank's Banking Regulation and Policy Department [BRPD].
He joined the central bank in 1988 as an Assistant Director.
