Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – A four-member delegation of the board of directors of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) Limited is scheduled to meet with Bangladesh Bank (BB) Governor Fazle Kabir today (Tuesday) afternoon to review the overall market situation.

Different issues including trading of the government securities at the DSE are expected to discuss at the meeting, officials said.

Md. Eunusur Rahman, Chairman of the DSE Limited, will lead the delegation at the meeting.

The central bank along with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is now working to modify the market infrastructure (MI) module, an automated trading platform, to facilitate trading of the government securities in the country’s prime bourse.

A tripartite committee, consisting of representatives of the BB, the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), and the DSE, has already submitted its recommendations to the authorities concerned in this connection.
