Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The board of Dhaka Stock Exchanged (DSE) has asked its chief executive officer (CEO) Musharraf M. Hussain who resigned earlier to attend a board meeting on Tuesday, officials said.
Mr. Musharraf has told the Financial Express (FE) that he would attend the meeting called by the DSE board. “They have called me to discuss a situation.”
The DSE officials said the resignation letter of the CEO is yet to be accepted by the board.
Mr. Musharraf resigned on January 9 last, saying that he was “dissatisfied” with the board.
He joined the DSE at the end of December 2011, following the approval of his appointment by the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).
