DSE CEO resigns on health grounds

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Satipati Moitra on Wednesday resigned from his post on health grounds, officials confirmed.

DSE President Shakil Rizvi said Satipati’s letter of resignation was yet to be accepted by the DSE board.

“DSE board will take a decision next week,” DSE president was quoted by the Financial Express (FE), a local newspaper, as saying.

The DSE president, however, said as per terms of contract the CEO would have to continue for the next three months even if his letter of resignation is accepted.
