Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): Trading on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) will be delayed by one hour today (Thursday) in respect to the departed soul of President Mohammad Zillur Rahman, officials said.
The DSE and CSE board also decided to cut one hour trading period for today (Thursday). The trading will be started at 11.30am instead of 10.30am and continued till 2.30pm on the both bourses, officials said.
DSE president Rakibur Rahman, board of directors and management of the DSE expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of President Mohammed Zillur Rahman.
President Zillur Rahman passed away on Wednesday at Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital. He was 84.
