Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): The election of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) will be held today (Monday) to elect four new director’s in direct voting while the annual general meeting (AGM) will be held on June 15.
The election will start at 10am and will continue till 8pm, officials said.
A total of eight members of the DSE will contest the election of four directors’ posts of the premier bourse.
The candidates who will contest the election — Sharif Anowar Hossain of Sahidullah Securities, Mohammad Shamim Afzal of Desa Securities, Azizul Hoque of B & B Enterprise, Mohammad Lutfar Rahman of Latif Securities, Shahed Abdul Khaleque of Shahed Securities, Monzur Uddin Ahmed of M & Z Securities, Dastagir Md Adil of Adil Securities and Khugesta Nur-E-Naharin of Modern Securities.
