DSE fines 11 companies

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has penalized 11 listed companies as they failed to submit their audited reports for the year ended December 31, 2008 within the stipulated time (May 14,2009).

The prime bourse imposed penalty of Tk 500 each per day on the companies and asked them to submit the audited reports, a DES press statement said.

The companies are- Saleh Carpet, Sreepur Textile, Wata Chemical, Federal Insurance, German-Bangla Food, Padma Printer, Bemco, Bangladesh Leaf Tobacco, CMC Kamal, Mac Paper and Standard Insurance.
