Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The country’s premier bourse – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has given listing approval of three companies — Tung Hai Knitting and Dyeing, Shurwid Industries and Far East Knitting and Dyeing.
The listing approval was given at a board meeting held at the DSE premises in the capital Dhaka with its chairman Justice Siddiqur Rahman Miah in the chair.
Share trading of these companies will begin very soon, said a DSE official. “After transferring shares to respective beneficiary owner’s (BO) accounts, share trading of these companies will begin,” he said.  
The initial public offering (IPO) subscription of Tung Hai Knitting & Dyeing, Shurwid Industries and Far East Knitting and Dyeing Industry were held in May and June, this year.
Using the fixed price method, the Tung Hai Knitting floated 35 million ordinary shares of BDT 10 each and raised BDT 350 million from the public.
Shurwid Industries floated 14 million ordinary shares at an offer price of BDT 10 each and raised a fund worth BDT 140 million.
Far East Knitting and Dyeing offloaded 25 million ordinary shares at an offer price of T 27, including a premium of T 17 for each ten taka share and raised BDT 675 million from public.
