DSE goes on 9-day holiday from Oct 11

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) will remain closed from October 11, to October 19 (nine days) for Durga Puja, Eid-ul-Azha, and special holiday, officials said.

"As per decision of the Board of Directors, the trading and official activities of DSE will remain closed from October 11, to October 19, 2013 for government holidays for Durga Puja, Eid-ul-Azha and special holiday," said a DSE statement, posted on its website on Wednesday.

The normal trading and official activities of the prime bourse will resume from October 20, 2013 (Sunday), the statement said.
