Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Monday lunched ‘online payment system’ for its clients to deposit fees required for getting information and data.
“The introduction of online payment system would enable the DSE clients to deposit training and other fees easily at home. It will also save time and money of the DSE clients,” said Md. Amzad Hoaasin, commissioner of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) at the lunching ceremony as chief guest.
DSE managing director Prof. Dr. Swapan Kumar Bala said the DSE online payments will allow through VISA and MasterCard, DBBL Nexus Card, BRAC Bank Net Banking, Bank Asia Net Banking, bKash, DBBL Mobile Banking and Q-Cash.
Bala said Shurjomukhi Limited is acting as the gateway service provider of the DSE online payment system.
DSE chairman Justice Siddiqur Rahman Miah, director Md. Shakil Rizvi, the members of DSE Brokers Association and high officials of the primer bourse were present, among others at the inaugural ceremony.
