Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The country’s premier bourses –Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) –leaders are going to meet with top 30 brokerage firms in terms of turnover on Sunday to discuss the latest market situation.

“We want to find out why turnover declined. We are trying to take positive measures to increase the volume of turnover,” Senior Vice President of DSE Ahasanul Islam was quoted by The Daily Star, a local newspaper, as saying.

He also said a list of large institutional investors will be drawn at the meeting through discussion with the brokerage firms and positive measures will be taken to increase the big parties’ participation.

DSE President Shakil Rizviand a number of directors will join the meeting, a DSE official said.
