Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) -Dhaka stocks opened on Sunday with positive mode, market operators said.
Amid modest fluctuation, the benchmark DSE General Index (DGEN) is up by 144 points or 2.26 per cent to 6496.81—its highest in two weeks.
The sentiment of the market remain positive in the three consecutive sessions after the state-run Investment Corporation of Bangladesh submitted the Bangladesh Fund to the Securities and Exchange Commission for approval.
But trading is sluggish as the investors look for findings of probe report on stock crash expected to be submitted to the government this week.
