DSE opens with negative mode

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange started with negative mode on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.
 
The country's premier bourse resumed its trading an hour late at 11:30am instead of 10:30am due to technical glitches.
 
DGEN, the benchmark general index of DSE, decreased 29.30 points to reach 4,036 points at 12:30 am when the report was filed.
 
Of the issues traded, 147 declined, 18 advanced while 14 remained unchanged.
 
A total of 31140 trades were executed with BDT 577.53 million changing hands.
 
On Thursday, trading at the country's premier bourse declined 26 points to reach at 4,066 points.
