Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): Share prices at the country’s premier bourse — Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) opened with a negative note while Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw upward trend in early hours of trading on Tuesday.

The DSE general index, DGEN stands at 4,350.63 points after losing 5.97 points or 0.13 per cent within first 30 minutes trading at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 99 advanced, 56 declined and 25 remained unchanged.

Turnover stood at BDT 807 million till the report was filed at 11am.

Newly listed Argon Denims topped the turnover chart with shares worth BDT 194 million changing hands till then.

On the other hand, the Chittagong Stock Exchange key index, CSCX gained 5 points or to stand at 8,612 points also at 11am. Of the issues traded then, 52 advanced, 32 declined and 12 remained unchanged till then.
