Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has Monday decided to shorten the trading and office hour during holy month of Ramadan. 
The decision was taken at the 709th board meeting of the DSE held on Monday at the DSE board room with its president Rakibur Rahman in the chair.
Trading at the DSE will begin at 11am instead of 10:30am and continue till 2pm instead of 2.30pm while DSE office will remain open from 10am instead of 9.30am and continue 4pm instead of 5.30pm during the Ramadan, according to the decision. 
On the other hand, the DSE office and trading activities will remain closed August 15 to August 25, 2012, on the occasion of death anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Shab-e-Qadar, Eid-ul-Fitr and special vacation of the bourse.
The normal trading and office of the DSE will resume from August 26 as usual.
