Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has suspended trading activities of M H Chowdhury Securities Ltd for non-compliance of securities related rules and regulations and irregularities in their books and accounts, officials said.
“The monitoring team of the DSE Tuesday inspected M H Chowdhury Securities Ltd. (DSE member # 156) and found non-compliance of securities related rules and regulations and irregularities in their books and accounts,” news posted at the DSE website said on Tuesday.
In response to the findings of the DSE monitoring team the said member company informed DSE that they are going to conduct a thorough audit of the books and records and suspend the operation of their brokerage house from 13 March until the audit is completed, it said.
The clients of M H Chowdhury Securities Limited can collect their money from the said brokerage house or transfer their shares through link account, if they wish to do so, it added.
