Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) will introduce online trading using MSA-Plus (Member’s Server Application) software on June 10 this year, officials said.
“We will introduce ‘MSA-Plus Go Live Program,’ using MSA-Plus software” on June 10 this year to expedite and transparent trading activities,” DSE President Rakibur Rahman told reporters on Wednesday after a board meeting.

He also urged the merchant bankers to open separate BO accounts and make their trading activities more transparent which will help to restore investors confidence.

Earlier, on March 20, the DSE suspended “MSA-Plus Go Live Program” which was supposed to introduce on March 25 following the omnibus complexity though DSE was ready in principle to launch e-trading.

The DSE also give a six-month timeframe to transfer the omnibus accounts into a single-client account for more transparent in trading activities, he added.

The new Internet-based trading software MSA-plus will pave the way for online trading from different platforms, he said.

After the introduction of MSA-plus software, the investors will get trading access to the DSE by using individual password provided by brokerage houses concerned from anywhere in the country and across the globe through the Internet.
