DSE trading starts positive note

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): Trading on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) started with a positive note Wednesday, after one-day break on public holiday.

After 70 minutes of trading, the benchmark general index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DGEN) gained 26 points or 0.63 per cent to stand at 4,176.96.

Turnover value stood at Tk 484 million since fill the report at about 11.40am. Of the issues traded till 11.4am, 123 advanced, 43 declined and 39 remained unchanged.

Bexmico Limited topped the turnover chart with shares worth Tk 65 million changing hands.

Earlier, Monday, the DGEN gain 6 points.
