Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Main bourse of Bangladesh, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), was witnessing a roller coaster ride since the opening on Tuesday, the third session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, moved up after half-an-hour’s trade to reach 4,498 points at 11:00am.
But at 12noon, it plunged to 4,484 points.
On the other hand, DS30 index, comprising blue chips, gained to stand at 1,102 points at 11:00am and which reached to 1,735 points at 12noon.
The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) which advanced to reach 1,743 points at 11:00am came down to 1,097 points when this report was updated.
DSE turnover stands at BDT1,271 million when the report was updated at 12noon.
Of the issues traded till then, 115 advanced, 115 declined and 41 issues remained unchanged.

The port city bourse, the CSE, however, saw an upward trend in early hours of trading with its Selective Category Index – CSCX – gained 14.06 points to stand at 8,394.25 points, also at 11:59 am.

Of the issues traded till then, 80 gained, 64 declined and 26 issues remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 124 million.
