Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The Bangladesh Embassy in Nepal has opened help desk in earthquake-torn Nepal so that the Bangladeshi nationals staying there could communicate in emergency.
So far no Bangladeshi national has been reported injured, said a press statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangladesh on Saturday.
According to CNN report: Nepal’s Ministry of Home Affairs says more than 150 people have died in the capital, Kathmandu, following a 7.9 magnitude earthquake.
A massive 7.9 magnitude earthquake has hit Nepal with devastating force less than 50 miles from the capital, Kathmandu, the U.S. Geological Survey said Saturday.
Later, two aftershocks at the strengths of 6.6 and 5.1 were also felt, reports the USGS.
