Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The trading of Eastern Housing Limited (EHL) resumed on Tuesday after a week of its trading suspension enforced by Dhaka Stock Exchange authority.
The DSE authority halted EHL’s trading for 15 minutes on August 23 this year due to its unusual price hike. On the same day the authority suspended EHL’s trading until further notification as the company remained its upward trend.
However, after resumption, the price of EHL increased by 12.50 percent or BDT 177.75 and closed at BDT 1600.25 on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the DSE authority submitted an enquiry report regarding the unusual price hike of EHL to the Securities and Exchange Commission.
