Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Eastland Insurance Company Ltd was held here on Thursday with the approval of 30 percent stock dividend for the year 2012.
Mahbubur Rahman, Chairman of the company, presided over the meeting. The chairman presented the report of the directors and audited accounts of the company for the year ended on December 31, 2012 together with auditors’ report.
He also informed the meeting that the company through its 24 branches earned a gross premium of BDT 650.1 million which is 18.16 percent higher than that of previous year.
