EBL launches VISA signature credit card in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) has launched its visa signature credit card in Bangladesh.

With the visa signature card, the EBL has become the first bank in Bangladesh to introduce a premium credit card, which is above the current premium cards available in Bangladesh, the bank said.

Positioned above the platinum class credit card, EBL visa signature offers the card holders to experience the very best of lifestyle and financial benefits all across the world.

Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director CEO of EBL, launched the card at a press conference at a city hotel on Friday.

EBL Deputy Managing Director M Fakhrul Alam, Head of Cards Nazeem A. Choudhury Area Head Consumer Banking M. Musa, Sales and Service Managers of different branches and other senior officials were also present at the event.

EBL visa signature card offers all the platinum class benefits plus 1.0 per cent cash back on all retail purchases round the year, a comprehensive Tk 10 million accidental insurance coverage, complimentary access to over 600 lounges at over 100 countries worldwide including Hajrat Shahjalal International Airpor.
