EBL to invest in Life Insurance Company

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) with some local and foreign institutions will set up a Joint Venture Life Insurance Company in Bangladesh, subject to the approval of the respective regulator.

It will have 25 per cent share in the proposed insurance company’s paid up capital, the company announcement said on Thursday.
