EC revises schedules for polls keeping polling dates unchanged

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The Election Commission on Thursday announced revised schedule for the parliamentary and upazila elections keeping the polling dates unchanged.

The EC re-fixed the last date for submitting nomination papers to the returning officers or assistant returning officers on November 23, according to the revised schedule.

Scrutiny of nomination papers for the parliamentary election will be held on November 25 and 26 while for upazila polls on November 27, 28 and 29.

The last date of withdrawal of candidature for the parliamentary elections has been fixed on December 1 while for upazila polls on December 4.
