Eid being observed in few villages of Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Eid-ul Fitr, the largest festival of the Muslim community that marks the end of the month of Ramadan, is being celebrated in an isolated way at a number of places in Bangladesh on Sunday.
The Eid is being observed in few villages in Bhola, Patukhali, Munshiganj Madaripur, Chandpur, Dinajpur, Narayanganj, Barguna, Barisal and Noakhali districts in line with the sighting of the Shawal moon in Saudi Arabia.
The Eid Jamaat was held at 27 villages in Patukhali, 10 villages of Barguna, seven villages in Munshiganj, 10 villages in Bhola, 15 villages in Madaripur and 40 villages in Chandpur, according to reports.
