Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Eight Bangladeshi films are going to take part at 26th International de Films de Fribourg (FIFF), a Swiss film festival, in celebration of the 40th bilateral relationship between Bangladesh and Switzerland.
Nasiruddin Yousuff Bachchu’s Guerilla, Enamul kabir Nirjhar’s Aha, Goutam Ghosh’s Moner Manush, Golam Rabbani’s Swapna Danai, Gias Uddin Selim’s Manpura, Rubaiyat Hossain’s Meherjaan, along with recently demised eminent film director Tarique Masud’s  Matir Moyna and Runway will be screened at the festival, a press statement said.
The festival will take place from March 24 to 31. 
Besides, the festival will also include a two-day film forum where film makers from across the world including Bangladesh will participate.       
This year’s festival will include about 60 films from different countries. Federal councillor of Switzerland Alain Berset will be present at the opening ceremony on March 24. Argentinean film Salt, directed by Diego Rougier, will be the opening film of the festival.
