Eight people die from severe cold in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Eight people died from severe cold in three districts –Kurigram, Khulna and Manikganj –of Bangladesh on Monday night and Tuesday.

In Kurigram, four people, including two minors, died of cold-related diseases in Ulipur, Rajibpur and Sadar upazilas in the last 24 hours ending 6:00 pm on Tuesday, according to reports.

Moderate cold wave have been sweeping the district in the last few days with mercury dipping as low as 7.8 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
