Dhaka, Bangladesh (BNN) – Ekramul Hoque has recently joined Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited as Managing Director (MD), a bank announcement said.
Prior to his new assignment, he was the additional managing director of Exim Bank Limited. He replaced MA Samad Sheikh, who retired on the same date as Managing Director of the bank.
Mr Hoque obtained his Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka and started his banking career in Uttara Bank as a development officer in 1970.
