Elderly couple strangled in Bangladesh

Natore, Bangladesh (BBN)-An elderly couple was found dead in Natore, a north-western part of Bangladesh early Sunday.

Miscreants might have strangulated them in their house in the early morning in the Singra upazila of Natore district, local police said.

The deceased were identified as Noni Gopal Kundu, 71, and his wife Chitra Rani Kundu, 61.

However, the miscreants did not identified immediately.

They killing might have been due to a previous enmity, police added.

Informed by locals, the police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies and sent to Natore Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
