Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN) – A woman was killed when a wild elephant attacked her at Hadiyapara of Satkania upazila in the country’s southeaster Chittagong district early Saturday, police said.
The incident occurred when the woman went to her land around 6:15am for growing some crops and all of a sudden an elephant appeared from a nearby jungle and squeezed her with its trunk, a local police officer confirmed.
