Kathmandu, Nepal (BBN) - Envoys have started political consultation to facilitate the formation of a new government in the South Asian country.

Envoys from the European Union and United States of America called caretaker Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday and expressed deep concern on the ongoing political deadlock in Nepal.

During the meeting, the envoys advised the caretaker prime minister that delay in formation of new government could spoil the image of Nepal in the global arena.

The prime minister assured the envoys of ending the house obstruction as soon as possible and pave the path for the new government formation, a senior leader of UCPN-Maoist said.
