EUR gains against JPY, USD falls against CAD

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The European currency (EUR) was at a two-week high against the Japanese Yen (JPY) after a report showed that German investor confidence was at its highest in more than three years. JPY was at 132.38 versus the EUR.

The US Dollar (USD) was at a one-year low against the Canadian Dollar (CAD) amid reports that retail sales fell in September and factory production decreased. The CAD fetched 1.0407 against the USD, according to reports.

Australia’s Dollar (AUD) rose to its highest against the USD since August 2008 as investors expected Australia’s central bank to raise interest rates. The AUD was at 0.9027 against the Greenback.
